Start Here

To help you find what you’re looking for here, I thought I’d give you a quick-start guide to Graywolf Survival. Kind of a guided tour. You can find this page any time through the image in the front center of the main page or the ‘Start Here’ link at the very top.

What this site is about

This site brings you common-sense information on how to prepare yourself and your family to be able to deal with whatever life can throw you.

Not just survive, but to thrive in any situation – from everyday life to SHTF. I do this by:

Showing you how to protect your family from such natural disasters as earthquakes, floods, fire, or even an EMP – basically, how to be a prepare for anything.

Explaining primitive survival skills such as how to start a fire, how to filter and purify water, and how to build a shelter.

Breaking down in simple terms how to build DIY projects such as solar hot water heaters, solar ovens, homemade hand pumps, and so on.

Unlike most sites, I try to explain to you the theory of how and why each thing works so you can build it with whatever you have available.

Identifying different prepper, homesteading, off-grid, tactical, or survival gear that you may be interested in and explaining the pros and cons of each.

Testing and reviewing prepper and survival gear and giving you my honest opinion of what each item does, how well it does it, and how it can (or can’t) fit into your plans.

How to navigate this site

If you’re ever stuck, find the ‘Start Here’ link at the very top right of the page.

Just to the left of that is the Site Map, which lists every page, category, author, and post – all on one page.

You can find the various categories of my posts at the top of my page, just under the big orange Graywolf Survival banner.

Down the right side of the page is a list of my most recent posts.

This is the list of my top 10 posts:
