Rising Global Inequality: Issues and Solutions

Yesterday I went to the event in Oxford called “Rising Inequality in the Global South: Practice and Solutions. Event was organized by Oxfam to discuss Rising Inequality in Global South. The main problem is increasing gap between rich and poor, rich becoming more richer and poor more poor. So what people can do about it? One of the solutions suggested and mostly scrutinised  was to tax rich more. So this is how I look at this solution. Ok, lets take more from rich. Well it is not a bad solution (so I don’t have to do anything, I can get back from work, put tv on,play video games, browse, hey happy days, nothing to worry lets get brain washed and just waste time into nothingness and emptiness yes let’s just tax rich and get them pay to the poor).
