A dark horse presidential candidate in April, Bernie Sanders has risen to national prominence. His character, values, and message of political revolution have energized American grassroots.

Now, Sanders is leading the TIME Person of the Year reader poll. You may add your vote through December 4, 2015. The winner of the TIME reader poll will be announced on December 7, but we will need to wait until December 9 to see who the TIME editors select as 2015’s official Person of the Year.
